Symposium "Clean hands save lives"

Polish Association of Insurance medicine was a co-organiser of a symposium entitled Clean hands save lives, which took place in the Library and Information Centre of Medical University of Warsaw on 9th May 2017.
The subject discussed involve hand hygiene with special reference to hospital acquired infections, the spread of multi-resistant bacteria as well as antibiotic therapy and the importance of vaccinations. The above-mentioned topics were also debated in the light of Polish healthcare system and university teaching of healthcare professionals.
The conference was held under the patronage of His Magnificence the Rector of Medical University of Warsaw and Chief Sanitary Inspector. The event was co-organised by the Department of Social Medicine and Public Health and Polish Association of Social Medicine and Public Health.
Polish Association of Insurance Medicine was represented by Dr Piotr Daniluk.
